At MIFWA, we understand the profound impact of losing someone we deeply care about. Whether through suicide or expected end of life passing, each loss leaves an indelible mark on our hearts.
Throughout our journey with MIFWA, we’ve encountered many stories of resilience and love from individuals and families navigating these challenging times. To honour the memory of consumers and carers who we have worked alongside, MIFWA has partnered with Trillion Trees Australia embracing the tradition of planting trees.
Planting a tree serves as a symbol of life, growth, and enduring memory. It is a meaningful way to commemorate and celebrate someone’s life and recognise their passing.
Based in Hazelmere WA, Trillion Trees are committed to selecting the right trees and understory for each location, ensuring they thrive in their environment. Exclusively growing and planting native species that bolster local ecosystems and provide habitats for wildlife such as black cockatoos, honey possums and quendas.
They take pride in monitoring planting sites rigorously to guarantee the highest success rates. This commitment ensures that MIFWA’s donations not only honour a loved one’s memory but also contributes to a greener and healthier planet.
