‘Empowering communities, thriving workforces: a journey towards investing in our mental health’ is the theme for WA Mental Health Week 2024.
WA Mental Health Week is an opportunity to challenge stigma, support people to chart their recovery, and tailor our efforts and support for lasting impact in our communities. This year’s theme focuses on power, prompting our communities to explore the supports that help empower people who have experienced mental health challenges so they can take charge of their mental health within their everyday lives.
There will be various mental health awareness campaigns planned across WA to help share and acknowledge the real stories of lived experience, recovery and life beyond mental health challenges. We encourage you to participate, even if this means simply sharing the events information and the tips and resources with your networks.
