The Blended Online Youth Mental Health First Aid Course for adults living in regional grain growing communities across WA teaches participants how to assist a young person who may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
Tailored for the online learning environment, this course involves 5 to 7 hours self-paced pre-course work and 3 X 2.5-hour online training:
SESSION DATES & TIMES
Stage 1 – Complete eLearning (5 to 7 hours self-paced)
Stage 2 – 1 November 2021, 12:30pm to 3.00pm via ZOOM online
Stage 3 – 8 November 2021, 12:30pm to 3.00pm via ZOOM online
Stage 4 – 15 November 2021, 12:30pm to 3:00pm via ZOOM online
Stage 5 – Short online assessment
On completion of the course, attendees can sit a short online assessment and become an Accredited Youth Mental Health First Aider for three years.
